LADIES! Have you ever thought "wow that is really awesome I would love to give that a go!" after watching cars zoom around a racetrack or even watching motorsport on tv?
Well welcome to the motorsport section of our website, it is still under development but we hope to have a snazzy section up for you ladies very soon, so watch this space. We all know women in motorsport are hard to come by, but they are there and we endeavour to let NZ women know about them and encourage them to get involved!
Motorsport is a sport in which participants race a motor vehicle usually around a track of some sorts.
What types of motorsport are there?
There are a lot of different sports in the motorsport industry, Circuit racing, (tarmac race track) Drifting, Road Racing (Targa), Rally (dirt, snow), dirt track, you name it!
How to get involved in motorsport?
There are many different ways to get involved with motorsport, one way is to get involved with your local car club, or if you like a particular motorsport go along to the next day and ask how you can volunteer or how to get yourself involved in the sport! Also keep an eye out for beginner race track days they have skilled professionals teaching you how to drive on a race track!

Targa NZ is looking for some awesome fun loving people to help with the timing during the stages for its annual events.
